International Orientation Week
Your week to get to know campus!
The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) is looking forward to welcoming you to our campus ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½! Our team is ready to walk you through the process of starting your life at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and making sure you are ready for success. Upon arrival, we'll help you with immigration check-in and course registration. You'll learn all about campus and start making friends by participating in social events and campus tours!
Parents, guardians, family, and loved ones of graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend orientation. We realize the transition to a university can be a big change for the entire family. If you plan on attending orientation, please let us know by emailing oiss@stthomas.edu.
Spring 2025 orientation activities will start on Wednesday, January 29th and will end on Friday, January 31st.
Arrival Day is Wednesday, January 29th, so please schedule your flights for that day.
Classes begin on Monday, February 3rd.

Spring 2025 Undergraduate Orientation Schedule
The Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) is ready to welcome you to your new campus during the week of January 27th. We will be open all week from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m to help you complete the immigration check-in process.
Below is preview of what is to come for Spring 2025. The full detailed orientation schedule will be posted on December 1st, 2025.
This is our official arrival day and the first day that students living on campus can move into their residence halls. OISS will only do airport pickups during this day. Please sign up for before Monday, January 13th.

KALKIDAN (KAL)
Major/Minor: Exercise Science/Nutrition
Home Country: Ethiopia
Bio: Hey, everyone! I'm Kal, short for Kalkidan. Next year I will be in my last year at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, studying Exercise Science. I was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but moved to the USA when I was 13, so I consider myself an international student. I'm excited to be part of the International Orientation Leaders (IOL) team and can't wait to meet you all! We will have a great time together!

Bio: I am about to be a senior at the University of St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and am majoring in International Studies. I transferred from Hong Kong to UST and am grateful for the awesome ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ I found here. I love being part of this vibrant international organization, which inspires me daily through the many students and cultures represented here.
