Cost of Attendance for Undergraduate Students
The following Financial Aid Cost of Attendance (COA) Budget Components are intended to provide estimated allowances of educationally related expenses. Financial Aid, including scholarships, grants and loans, may be available to help with these expenses.
These figures are estimates and your actual costs may differ. All figures below reflect information based on a 9-month period of enrollment (Fall and Spring Semester). Jterm and Summer term costs are additional.

Required Fees | $1,578 | The amount listed above reflects the required fees for full-time undergraduate students admitted for the Fall 2021 or after. *The required fees for those who began attendance at St ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ earlier than Fall 2021 are $1,244. Students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program have higher general fees. Students in the first year of nursing coursework have required fees of $3,778. Second- and third-year nursing students have general fees of $3,642. |
Books, Supplies, Course Materials and Equipment | $1,000 | Expected costs for books, course materials, and equipment for a full-time student. **Students in the first year of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program have additional start-up costs; therefore, the estimated books and supplies cost is $1,500. For students in the last year of the BSN program the estimated cost will be $1,150. |
Food | $5,340 | A standard allowance that represents an estimated cost for three meals each day, seven days a week, for the student. |
Housing | $9,629 | The average cost of an on-campus room assignment or an estimated cost of rent/mortgage and utilities for off-campus students. |
Transportation | $1,000 | An allowance which helps support the cost of transportation. |
Personal/Loan Fees/Miscellaneous Expenses | $1,596 | Miscellaneous personal expenses—An allowance for personal items such as clothing, hygiene needs, cell phone plan, etc. Federal student loan fees—an allowance for the average cost of Federal student loan fees. Professional Licensing Exams and Licensing Fees—In addition to the above standard expenses there are two undergraduate programs that will have allowances built in during the last year of the program for Professional Licensing Exams and Licensing Fees. Senior students in the Bachelors Degrees in Education will have a $300 allowance in the cost of attendance. Senior students in the Bachelors Degree in Social Work will have an allowance of $482 in the cost of attendance. |
