From underfunded schools on tribal lands to persistent inequities, Native peoples continue to navigate systems not built with them in mind. Yet across communities, powerful organizing, resistance, and renewal are taking place, led by Indigenous leaders shaping the path forward.Winona LaDuke has spent her life advancing Indigenous sovereignty and sustainability. Her work invites us to rethink advocacy as grounded organizing rooted in relationship, reciprocity, and shared responsibility.Join us for a conversation with Winona LaDuke as we explore: What does organizing look like in today’s world, when systems of power and inequity feel more complex than ever? How do we distinguish activism—raising our voices for change—from organizing, which builds lasting structures of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ power? How can each of us help rebuild narratives that center Indigenous wisdom, foster empathy and understanding, and inspire meaningful action? This event is open to all. We can't wait to see you there.
