Veterans Apply as Transfer Students
Due to the college credits that veterans have received from their military service, veterans must apply as transfer students. We accept transfer students on a rolling basis throughout the year until our class is full, so there are no specific application deadlines.

Yellow Ribbon Program
Military Education Benefits
St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is a Yellow Ribbon school. That means if you receive the Post-9/11 GI Bill at the maximum Chapter 33 benefit rate (100 percent), you won't have to pay tuition and fees to attend.
You'll also receive a monthly housing stipend in addition to a flat annual rate for books and supplies.

Eric Olson '22
Eric Olson '22 is a recent University of St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ criminal justice graduate who served in the Navy for almost nine years. During his education at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, he was vice president of the Veterans Association and credits the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ for helping him get to where he is today.
Sophie Woessner '23
Sophie Woessner, double major in physics and electrical engineering, serves in the Air National Guard out of the 133rd Airlift Wing in St. Paul. During her time at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, she was vice president of Tommie Strength, a health and fitness club; the treasurer of the St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Society of Women Engineers; a physics tutor; and part of the university's Observatory crew.
Scott Russell Porter '22
A mechanical engineering major, Scott is an eight-year veteran of the Marine Corps. He juggled many duties during his time at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, including a part-time internship at Graco; working with the St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ veterans club to support other veteran students successfully transition to university life; and fatherhood.
