Programs

International Student with a local family

Friendship Family Program

Friendship Family is a program that matches international students with local Twin Cities families. Founded on the belief that we should learn from each other, the program provides cultural experiences for ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ members and helps international students experience true Minnesotan/U.S. culture in American families.

Connect with a local family or friend for one academic year or semester. You and your friendship family will meet regularly, have intercultural experiences, engage in cultural learning opportunities, and attend various international events at St. ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½. You will have a unique chance to learn about American life and traditions while also sharing your life and traditions with the family/friend.
